Healthwatch East Sussex Quarter 1 Report – April to June 2025
This report summarises the activity, publications and impact delivered by Healthwatch East Sussex last quarter.
Highlights from this quarter
During quarter 1 we:
- launched our new Healthwatch East Sussex website, offering improved navigation and a fresh, user-friendly design.
- engaged with the commercial fishing community, providing an Information and Signposting drop-in session and gathering feedback about the fishing community’s experience of health and care services.
- worked in partnership with Care for the Carers, to listen to carers’ experiences of health and care services, including hospital discharge.
- presented our findings from our HMP Lewes report highlighting what was working well, as well as areas for improvement, based on what we heard from residents during our work.
- were delighted to share ‘Unlocking the power of people-driven care’, our Annual Report for 2024-25.
Who we share our report with
Our quarterly report will be shared with Healthwatch England, East Sussex County Council as the commissioners of the local Healthwatch service, and with a range of our statutory and voluntary sector partners across East Sussex.
