Loneliness can have a significant impact on our wellbeing and, if it is prolonged, it can cause (or worsen) mental health problems and a decline in your physical health. Loneliness is often a feeling that is left unsaid, which is why we want to get people thinking and talking about it during Loneliness Awareness Week ( 9 – 15 June).
