Healthwatch East Sussex Listening Tour Activity begins in Rother

Our Listening Tour is currently visiting Rother and we will be out and about listening to the views of residents, communities and professionals. Our activities include;
- Our dedicated survey
- Stakeholder events
- Attending community groups and events
- Collating the insight we have captured on that area via our Feedback Centre, Information and Signposting and other channels
We invite all residents and service providers in East Sussex to take part in our Listening Tour and help shape the future of local health and care services. This may include patients, members of the public, as well as staff or volunteers working in voluntary and statutory services and organisations supporting people across the county.

Through our survey we are keen to hear:
- your experiences of local health and care services
- what works and what needs improving
- how your wellbeing can best be supported

Sharing our insight
The insight we collect through our Listening Tour will be used to develop a report for each area and shared with service providers and commissioners.
The insight we develop is used to:
- Identify where services are working well or where change may be needed, by sharing feedback with commissioners and providers
- Escalate concerns or issues to decision-makers such as the Health & Wellbeing Board or Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (HOSC)
- Inform and prioritise future Healthwatch activity and projects
- Support Integrated Community Teams responses to local priorities
