Holiday Food and Fun (HAF) in East Sussex

For six weeks during school holidays throughout the year (Easter, summer and Christmas) school-aged children and young people who receive benefits-related free school meals can take part in a range of free clubs and activities across the county with food included.

Activities vary and can include sports, games, arts, crafts, music, and nature. 

Many clubs can also offer families advice and recipes for cooking healthy meals on a budget and other support.

Since 2021, the Holiday Food and Fun programme has provided holiday club places to children in receipt of benefits-related free school meals (FSM). Holiday fun and food is part of the national Holiday Activity and Food programme (HAF) funded by the Department for Education.
