Plan ahead this Bank Holiday - pharmacy opening times

Make sure you order and collect any repeat prescriptions you need in good time so you're not caught out.

With the Bank Holiday approaching (25th August), make sure to order any repeat medications in advance, as your GP surgery may be closed and pharmacy opening hours may differ.

To find an open pharmacy near you this bank holiday weekend, visit the NHS England website. It's a good idea to contact the pharmacy before attending to ensure they are open and have the medication you require.

Pharmacists are highly trained healthcare professionals that can offer advice on a range of illnesses, such as coughs, colds, sore throats, ear infections and aches and pains.

They can also give advice about medicines. This includes how to use your medicine, worries about side effects or any other questions you have.

Our Information and Signposting service will be closed on the Bank Holidays. A voicemail service will be available for you to leave a message, or you can email enquiries@healthwatcheastsussex.co.uk

Any enquiries received during our closure period will be responded to as promptly as possible when the service re-starts.
