New Flexibus’ app
In areas with limited or no public transport, the Flexibus on-demand ride-share service can take you where you need to go, within 9 mile radius of your pick up point.
Flexibus is a flexible, bookable ride-share service for areas of East Sussex with limited public transport.
It allows people to travel up to nine miles of their pick‑up point and can be used for everyday journeys such as appointments, shopping and social activities.
A new Flexibus app is now available. As well as booking trips, the app helps users plan journeys by recommending the best transport options available – whether that’s Flexibus, a standard timetabled bus service, or a combination of the two.
Trips can also be booked online or by phone on 01273 078203.
Flexibus covers 90% of East Sussex, plus some key destinations just outside the county, like transport hubs and hospitals.
Where can I go?
You can travel:
- within 9 miles of your pick-up point.
- along routes not already served by public transport.
- you may be able to travel if you are unable to access your nearest bus stop safely preventing use of local services.
You can’t travel:
- within towns that already have good transport links.
- along routes already served by public transport.
