Experiences of using Nicotine Pouches
Nicotine pouches are slim, soft packets filled with nicotine, flavourings, and plant-based material placed under the lip that release nicotine. These differ from nicotine patches, which are placed on the arm.
We gathered children and young people’s (CYP) experiences, and our findings highlighted mixed understandings of what they are called, what they contain, and how people get information about them.
We are now launching a Sussex-wide survey to explore further who uses them, why they use them and how people feel about them compared to vaping and cigarettes. If you use or have used nicotine pouches, please share your experiences.
Complete our short survey
Our latest survey is open to people of all ages from across Sussex and should take about 10 minutes to complete.
If you use or have used a nicotine pouch, we want to hear:
- why you use them
- how often you use them
- any effects they have on you
Please complete our short survey to help us and decision-makers understand your experiences.

Your answers are private - we won't ask for your name, and no-one will know it's you.
Please feel free to share this survey with the people you know.
