NHS Sussex has launched a new campaign to highlight the wide range of healthcare professionals working in GP surgeries across Sussex.

In February 2025, Healthwatch in Sussex sought experiences of accessing Neurodevelopmental Services in the last 12 months. 136 people from across Sussex shared their views with us.

Healthwatch East Sussex are holding a focus group for children aged 8 – 11 and their parent/guardian to hear experiences of paediatric care in East Sussex. The session will explore experiences through creative activities for children and parents/guardians.

Between July to November 2024, we engaged with residents of HMP Lewes to ask them about their experiences of health and care services. We wanted to hear what was important to them about their health and care, what was working well and what needed to change to improve their experience of care.

Healthwatch uses your feedback with health and care decision-makers to seek a positive difference, and this document sets out the issues you raised and any changes you have helped us to deliver during February 2025.

We’d like to hear experiences of adult vaccinations during the last 12 months, from people who’ve been vaccinated and anyone who hasn’t.  Help us understand how they are for you, and any barriers or concerns you have.

NHS Sussex would like to hear from people who have been supported by a Social Prescribing Link worker, or a similar role.

On the 13th of February we held a One Year On Event with the partners involved in our Rye Listening Tour.

In January 2025, Healthwatch in Sussex sought people’s experiences of NHS Dentistry and received 595 responses to our poll. We previously asked questions about NHS Dentistry in a poll in January 2023 and wanted to see if there had been any changes over the past two years.

The NHS in Sussex is expanding access to urgent dental care appointments to improve access to urgent dental services for people without a regular dentist and vulnerable patient groups.
