We want to hear about your experience of accessing NHS dental services in this six-question poll.

From 6th January 2025, complaints about NHS primary care services in East Sussex such as GPs, dentists, opticians, and pharmacies will no longer be managed by the South East Complaints Hub (SECH) hosted by Frimley Integrated Care Board (ICB).

These complaints will now be handled directly by the NHS Sussex Complaints Team.

Between September and November 2024, Healthwatch East Sussex attended three student events across the county. We engaged with over 365 young people and received more than 140 pieces of feedback from students about their experiences of health and social care services.

In November 2024, Healthwatch in Sussex sought experiences of adult social care services in the last 12 months, or from their relatives, carers or friends.

This month we’d like to hear from people’s experiences of cancer screening during the last 24 months.

Over the last few weeks, East Sussex County Council has been undertaking consultations on proposed changes to services across Adult Social Care and Health and Children’s Services.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Their reports tell the public and patients what they think about the quality of care provided by services.

In June 2024 Healthwatch East Sussex undertook ‘Enter and View’ visit to residential homes in East Sussex, talking to residents and staff about their experience of dentistry and oral health care.
