We regularly review the experiences you told us through public events, surveys, Feedback Centre and Information & Signposting enquiries.

Healthwatch uses your feedback with health and care decision-makers to seek a positive difference, and this document sets out the issues you raised and any changes you have helped us to deliver during May 2025.

National surveys have shown that half of adults in Great Britain report feeling lonely occasionally, sometimes, often, or always. But while loneliness may be a natural emotion, that doesn't make it any less upsetting or painful.

If so, you are invited to take part in a study exploring PCOS diagnosis & support experiences via an online interview. Carried out by researchers at the University of Kent, the study aims to improve the experiences of those living with PCOS and assist those diagnosing and caring for them.

In April 2025, Healthwatch in Sussex sought people’s experiences of satisfaction with their local NHS services. This included what services people felt most satisfied with and what services people felt most dissatisfied with.

This week is Dying Matters Awareness Week, which runs from 5 to 11 May, and this year focuses on the theme: “The Culture of Dying Matters.”
