Chalkhill CQC inspection results published

Following two inspections in June 2023, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has lowered its rating for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s child and adolescent mental health (CAMHS) ward at Chalkhill, from ‘Good’ to ‘Requires Improvement’. The overall rating for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust remains good.

People urged to support the local NHS ahead of joint historic industrial action

The NHS in Sussex is calling on the public’s support to help ensure emergency care is available for those in most need as consultants and junior doctors strike together. The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced consultants and junior doctors will take part in joint strike action from 7am, Monday, 2 October to 7am, Thursday, 5 October.
