Healthwatch East Sussex COVID-19 Surveys 2020: One year on
As we pass the first anniversary of the first COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020, Healthwatch East Sussex is publishing full results from our two surveys that ran in May and June 2020.
During the first COVID-19 lockdown, Healthwatch in Sussex undertook multiple forms of ‘virtual’ engagement to capture patient and public experiences of the restrictions, as well as their understanding of which services were operating, and how and when they should be accessed.
During the COVID-19 pandemic there have been considerable challenges across Sussex care homes, including how to keep families in touch with their relatives.
The conversations outlined in this report were with a sample who completed the ‘Accessing health and care services: findings during the Coronavirus pandemic’ survey.
